As part of a dynamic, multicultural team, you’ll play a key role in crafting extraordinary guest experiences both on board and ashore. This is an engaging, guest-facing position where your communication skills, destination knowledge, and sales talent help create unforgettable memories while driving revenue success.

Your Life On Board
As a Tour Expert, you’ll be the driving force behind achieving revenue targets and ensuring guest satisfaction. You’ll promote enticing tour packages throughout the cruise and assist guests on local excursions—all while upholding the highest company safety standards. Your expertise and enthusiasm will elevate every guest’s journey.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create Exceptional Guest Experiences
  • Establish, develop, and maintain strong relationships with guests both on board and during tours, driving new business by selling package tours in line with budgeted targets.
  • Identify and propose new opportunities to maximise revenues within the tour area, bringing innovative ideas that enhance the guest experience.
  • Oversee the full organisation of excursions and transfers, including back-office tasks and preparation of all support materials (tickets, stickers, maps) in accordance with Tour Manager guidelines.
  • Report guest needs, interests, and opportunities for new products and services to the Tour Manager to ensure continuous improvement and revenue growth.
  • Drive Quality & Problem Resolution
  • Actively listen to guest complaints related to sales or excursions, escalating to the Tour Manager and coordinating with relevant departments to ensure prompt and effective solutions.
  • Provide language translations during excursions when required, ensuring clear communication and an enjoyable guest experience.
  • Safety First
  • Monitor guest activities during excursions to ensure compliance with service standards and safety procedures.
  • Provide immediate support to injured guests on tours, ensuring they receive proper care in line with company protocols.
  • Contribute to a strong onboard safety culture by consistently following and promoting all safety policies and procedures.

What We’re Looking For

  • Secondary school diploma in Tourism or Languages (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
  • Proven sales experience; previous experience as a Tour Operator is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in English and Italian.
  • Fluency in either German or French.
  • Good command of a fourth language such as Spanish, Portuguese, or Chinese.
  • Strong MS Office skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving, teamwork, and customer-focused mindset.

Why Apply?

Join a world-class cruise operator with an inclusive, global crew from over 70 nationalities.

Enjoy comprehensive onboard living: travel arrangements, meals, accommodation, and excellent crew facilities (gym, crew beach, crew bar, internet point).

Benefit from exclusive discounts, perks, and the opportunity for family and friends to visit onboard.
