Shopping Ambassador at Sea

The Cruise Retail Academy is recruiting Shopping Ambassadors to represent world-class luxury brands onboard major cruise lines. If you love presenting, selling, and creating unforgettable guest experiences, this role puts you centre-stage — literally.

Your Role

• Act as the onboard shopping expert, guiding guests through luxury brands and premium retail experiences
• Host engaging shopping shows, seminars, and destination-led presentations
• Present luxury products with high-energy storytelling and aspirational guest engagement
• Manage your personal onboard media channel, featuring product highlights, brand talk-throughs, and promotional content
• Collaborate with onboard and shoreside teams to film promotional assets and build your personal brand
• Support VIP events, product launches, and brand activations
• Drive sales through expert knowledge, vibrant personality, and authentic guest connections

What You’ll Bring

• Strong sales experience (luxury diamonds, gemstones, or high-value retail preferred)
• Confidence on stage — acting, performing, or theatrical background highly sought after
• A charismatic, warm presence that guests naturally connect with
• Excellent communication and public-speaking skills
• Experience in cruise environments, entertainment, auctioneering, or guest-facing roles is a major advantage
• Self-motivation, resilience, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multicultural onboard environment
• Flexibility to live and work at sea on 6-month rotational contracts
