Primary Responsibilities of the Role;
Present a well thought out entertainment programme, ensuring quality and consistency of the
product, working closely with the Entertainment Director and Assistant to maintain standards
and recommend improvements and enhancements as required to drive guest satisfaction
scores.
Take a leading role in hosting and organising entertainment activities and events.
Effectively manage the Entertainment Hosts, DJ and Dance Couple, observing and reviewing
the delivery of their activities, giving guidance and coaching as required.
Complete appraisals identifying development opportunities and encouraging personal growth.
Deputise for the Assistant Entertainment Manager, overseeing the efficient operation of the
entertainment department, Queens Room product and International Programme as needed.
Manage budget and inventory levels of entertainment prizes and equipment, ensuring
adequate levels are ordered and maintained within monthly targets and lead in times.
Ensure all performances and activities meet the agreed standards and identify areas of
improvement, actively working to exceed the expectations of guests and improve customer
satisfaction scores.
Communicate effectively and regularly with the Entertainment Director and Assistant to
contribute to continuous improvement cycle of developing and programming onboard product.
Collaborate with other departments to plan revenue generating events being mindful to
maintain the quality and integrity of entertainment.
Provide a highly visible presence during key guest activities.
Facilitate media requests and in port functions and tours as requested by the Entertainment
Director and Assistant.

Experience/
Qualifications:
Previous experience in an entertainment capacity onboard a ship.
Proven experience as an MC / host in a live theatre or Entertainment
environment.
Excellent planning and organisational skills.
Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English
