Officer Steward for Orient Express Sailing Yachts

V.Ships Leisure is looking for Officer Steward on behalf of Orient Express Sailing Yachts.
The Officer Steward is responsible for cleanliness of crew areas and maintenance of the officers’ cabins benefiting from housekeeping service. 

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain crew public areas as instructed by the chief housekeeper.
• Maintain the Officers Cabins benefitting from cleaning services as per assigned schedule.
• Handles garbage disposal duties for the department as instructed.
• Picks-up and delivers laundry for officers.
• Ensure the Captain/Chief Engineer coffee/tea set-up station is clean, organized and filled-up.
• Active participation in onboard training programs.
• Additional duties, not mentioned here, will be expected as per management request. 

Education/Experience/Qualifications:

• Languages: Fluent English.
• Education: High school degree or related.
• Previous professional experience: 1 year in a similar capacity in a luxury environment.
• Shipboard experience: Not required but preferred.
• Valid STCW certificates.
• Valid Pre-Employment Medical.
• C1D visa mandatory for all positions.
