About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Musical Duo — one vocalist with excellent vocal technique and one pianist (or systhesiser musician) with strong performance skills — to create unforgettable moments for the guests on board Amadeus premium river cruise vessels.
Your mission is simple: set the tone, lift the mood, and ensure our passengers are entertained from afternoon tea to evening dancing.

With a warm stage presence, a feel for the audience, and a versatile repertoire, you help create the upbeat, welcoming atmosphere our ships are known for.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of music styles to engage and entertain guests throughout the day.
• Create a lively dancing atmosphere with social dance genres such as Foxtrot, Disco Fox, Tango, Cha‑Cha, Rumba, Salsa, and Waltz.
• Adapt performances to the cultural background and preferences of an international audience
• Provide elegant background music during afternoon tea, including well‑known classical pieces.
• Coordinate performance schedules and event requirements with the Hotel Manager and Cruise Director.

Requirements

• A duo consisting of: One vocalist with very strong vocal skills and One pianist with advanced performance ability
• Previous experience as Singer, Pianist, Musician, Performer, or Solo/Duo Entertainer.
• Broad musical knowledge from the 1950s to today, with the ability to perform across decades.
• Ability to perform in multiple genres, including German Schlager and folk music.
• Confident singing in German and English.
• Ability to meet varied guest expectations.
• Smart‑casual or elegant attire depending on the event.
• Willingness to work onboard for extended periods.
• Nice to have: Ability to sing in additional languages (French, Spanish, Italian).
