Linenkeeper Needed For Passenger Vessel

• Receives delivery of new linen, towels, and uniforms.
• Collects clean linens and towels and issues these daily
• Ensures that quantities issued to Room attendants are in accordance with the number of
• passengers in their section.
• Ensures that quantities issued to Waiter/ess are in accordance with their stations.
• Ensures that laundry crew properly stores all linen, towels, and uniforms.
• Maintains uniform inventory (If applicable)
• Issues uniforms for new crew and uniform changes and ensures that uniforms of signing off crew are returned. (If applicable)
• Verifies quantities when crew members sign off
• Takes periodic inventories of linens, towels, and uniforms
• Maintains linen storeroom in a neat and orderly fashion
• Ensures that housekeeping staff handle all ship’s equipment with utmost care and report faulty/broken equipment
• Assists management with training and induction of new personnel.
• Displays positive service and teamwork by communicating courteously with guests and employees.
• Demonstrates teamwork when working with other employees
