Security Officer- French Speaking

We are currently seeking an experienced Security Officer

Requirements:

French National or fluent in both French and English

Strong knowledge of maritime security procedures

Ability to work within ISPS Code requirements

Professional, disciplined, and highly reliable

Contract Details:

Embarkation date: To be confirmed

Contract duration: 3 months on 3 months off

Salary: €5,990

Key Responsibilities:

Organise and deploy onboard security teams in close coordination with the Ship Security Officer (SSO)

Monitor ship security across passenger, crew, and restricted areas

Manage access control for persons, luggage, and equipment

Maintain and oversee security equipment, CCTV systems, and key control systems

Conduct security rounds, investigations, searches, and drug/alcohol testing

Support ISPS compliance, drills, and security training onboard

Liaise with Port Facility Security Officers (PFSO) and assist with Declarations of Security (DoS)

Maintain security records and report incidents in line with company procedures

Participate in emergency drills and respond as per Muster List
