Public Area Attendant

Position Summary
Ensures the cleanliness, order, and overall appearance of public areas onboard the ship, creating a welcoming environment for guests and crew.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, and maintain public spaces including lounges, corridors, restrooms, and stairways.
• Ensure proper upkeep of furniture, fixtures, and décor in guest-facing areas.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and maintain a courteous, professional demeanor.
• Safely operate cleaning equipment and use chemicals according to guidelines.
• Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to supervisors.
• Support housekeeping team with special projects and events as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Previous experience in housekeeping or public area preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and maintain high standards of cleanliness.
• Physical stamina for standing, bending, and lifting throughout shifts.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to guest satisfaction.
• Team-oriented with good communication skills.
