About the Position
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Cook to join our crew onboard a 46m cargo vessel. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high‑quality meals for the crew, ensuring food safety standards, overseeing galley operations, and managing provisions in an efficient and cost‑effective manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare daily meals for the crew (breakfast, lunch, dinner)
  • Plan menus and manage stock levels, including ordering and receiving provisions
  • Maintain hygiene and cleanliness of the galley area following maritime food‑safety standards
  • Ensure proper storage of food items in line with HACCP practices
  • Manage galley budget and avoid unnecessary waste
  • Comply with all vessel safety regulations and participate in relevant drills
  • Collaborate with the Master and Chief Officer to ensure smooth vessel operations

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience working as a Cook onboard a cargo vessel or similar maritime environment
  • Valid STCW certificates, including Seafarer Medical (ENG1 or equivalent)
  • Knowledge of international cuisine and ability to cater to diverse dietary preferences
  • Strong organizational and provisioning skills
  • Ability to work independently and maintain a clean, safe galley
  • Good command of English language
