We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Cruise Director to lead and oversee all onboard entertainment and guest engagement activities. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences by managing entertainment operations, leading a diverse team, and ensuring the highest standards of service and performance across all venues.

Key Responsibilities:


Direct and manage the overall entertainment program onboard, ensuring high-quality delivery across all venues and events
Lead, supervise, and develop entertainment staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management
Act as the primary host and master of ceremonies for major onboard events and shows
Monitor and manage departmental budgets, identifying opportunities for revenue growth and cost efficiency
Oversee planning and execution of daily activities, themed events, and special occasions
Ensure all entertainment aligns with company service standards, safety regulations, and guest satisfaction goals
Review guest feedback and implement improvements to enhance overall experience
Collaborate with other departments (food & beverage, excursions, retail) to create integrated guest experiences
Oversee production and distribution of onboard communications such as daily activity newsletters
Maintain and manage entertainment equipment, supplies, and venue standards
Handle guest concerns professionally and resolve issues promptly


Qualifications & Experience
2–5 years of progressive management experience in entertainment, hospitality, or related industries
Strong background as a host, presenter, or master of ceremonies
Demonstrated ability to engage and manage large audiences
Experience managing budgets, revenue generation, and operational costs
Proven leadership skills with experience managing multicultural teams
Knowledge of customer service standards and guest satisfaction practices
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related software tools
Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Communications, or a related field preferred

Additional Skills (Preferred):
Singing, dancing, public speaking, or other performance-related talents

Language Requirements
Fluent in spoken and written English
Strong communication skills with the ability to present information clearly to large groups
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, and remain active for extended periods
Capable of participating in emergency safety procedures and drills
Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs (23 kg)
Full use of vision, hearing, and mobility required for safety and operational duties

 

Work Experience Requirements

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Cruise Ship.
