Faststream Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced 2nd Engineer to join a world-renowned cruise operator. This is an exciting opportunity to advance your maritime engineering career with a company known for its high standards, modern fleet, and strong commitment to safety and crew welfare.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Chief Engineer and First Engineer in the safe and efficient operation of all engine room machinery and systems
• Oversee daily engine room operations, ensuring compliance with company procedures and international regulations
• Lead and support junior engineering officers and ratings
• Monitor maintenance schedules and ensure timely completion of planned maintenance
• Ensure strict adherence to safety, environmental, and quality standards

Requirements:

• 2nd Engineers unlimited license (CoC)
• Minimum of 2 contracts sailing as 2nd Engineer on Cruise ships over 50,000GT is essential
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a multicultural environment
