Responsibilities:
As a Dealer, you will be responsible for the integrity of the table games you are dealing.

Experience working with DICE is essential for this role!!


Essential Functions:
• Follow all the Company’s procedures and gaming policies.
• Ensure good public relations with the customers and staff.
• Responsible for verifying table floats at the beginning and end of the shift.
• Conduct various games of chance in the gambling casino establishments; distribute cards, roll dice or spin a roulette wheel, according to their expertise as a dealer.
• Maintain accuracy in all table games and ensure bets are placed into play.
• Explain and interpret operating rules of the gaming table.
• Conduct payouts/game progress and other deals following Casino Operation Policies

• Mandatory attendance to all assigned shipboard drills and emergency activities.
• Create and implement ideas that will generate/increase revenue and/or reduce costs to the company.

Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certification in gaming or hospitality is an asset.
• Must meet all regulatory requirements for gaming licenses and shipboard employment.
• Ability to pass background checks and comply with company and maritime safety standards.


Experience:
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a casino dealer or in a similar gaming environment.
• Previous experience in customer service or hospitality preferred.
• Familiarity with shipboard operations is an advantage but not mandatory

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Gaming Expertise: Proficient in dealing various table games (e.g., Blackjack, Roulette, Poker) and interpreting gaming rules accurately.
• Mathematical Accuracy: Strong ability to calculate payouts, verify floats, and maintain precise betting records.
• Customer Service: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to ensure positive guest interactions and resolve issues professionally.
• Compliance Awareness: Thorough understanding of casino operational policies, gaming regulations, and company procedures.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to handle disputes calmly and make quick, fair decisions under pressure.
• Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multicultural environment with rotating shifts.

Safety & Emergency Preparedness:

Knowledge of shipboard safety protocols and mandatory participation in drills.


Language Requirements:
• Ability to speak English clearly, distinctly and cordially with guests and crew.
• Ability to understand instructions given in English during emergency life saving procedures and drills.
• Ability to read and write English in order to understand and interpret written procedures. This includes the ability to give and receive instructions in written and verbal forms and to effectively present information and respond to questions from guests, supervisors and coworkers.
