Cruise Staff / Animator

As a Cruise Staff, you are a member of the entertainment team and will be responsible for ensuring guests have a fun, engaging, and memorable vacation. You will host activities, assist with entertainment, and provide outstanding guest service. This role requires high energy, adaptability, and a passion for creating a positive guest experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Host and facilitate onboard activities, including games, trivia, karaoke, and themed events.
• Assist in organizing and executing entertainment programs and social gatherings.
• Engage and interact with guests to enhance their onboard experience.
• Provide excellent customer service and respond to guest inquiries and requests.
• Work closely with the Entertainment Director and other departments to coordinate events.
• Support theater productions, deck parties, and other live performances as needed.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of guests during activities and events.
• Represent the Margaritaville brand with enthusiasm and professionalism.

REQUIEREMENTS:

• Minimum 21 years old
• Relevant ship experience is preferred
• Good level of English language
• A degree in Performing Arts, Hospitality, or a related field is preferred.
• Relevant certifications (e.g. STCW, C1D visa for cruise ship roles) as required.
• Minimum of one to two years in entertainment, hospitality, or a similar role in resorts, cruise
  ships, or recreational facilities.
• Experience as a Master of Ceremonies or entertainer (e.g., theatre, music, dance,comedy).
• Ability to instruct or coordinate group activities such as dance, Zumba, fitness classes, or crafting.
