Specialty Asst Waiter

About the Role

MSC Cruises is looking for motivated and service-oriented candidates to join the Food & Beverage team as Specialty Assistant Waiters.

This position is based in specialty restaurants on board (à la carte concepts such as steakhouse, seafood, Italian, etc.) and focuses on delivering high-quality, personalized service to guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist Waiters in providing professional table service
• Prepare and set up tables according to restaurant standards
• Serve food and beverages in a timely and efficient manner
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the dining area
• Provide attentive and personalized service to guests
• Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly
• Follow company standards and hygiene procedures
• Support upselling of menu items when required

Requirements

• Previous experience in restaurant service or hospitality
• English level B1–B2
• Additional languages are an advantage
• Knowledge of basic service standards (fine dining is a plus)
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Well-groomed appearance and positive attitude
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Important Note

Experience in à la carte or fine dining restaurants is highly preferred for this position.
