Your Purpose

As a Commis II Chocolatier, you will be an essential part of our onboard culinary team, crafting exquisite chocolate creations that elevate the guest experience. You will work with the highest quality ingredients to prepare chocolate delicacies that align with the exceptional standards of our cruise line. By bringing your expertise and passion for chocolate craftsmanship, you will contribute to creating moments of indulgence for our guests, ensuring that every bite reflects excellence and tradition. Your craftsmanship and attention to detail will define the onboard chocolate experience, providing guests with world-class confectionery delights. Through your expertise, you will uphold the quality and consistency of chocolate production, supporting our brand’s high standards and enhancing the reputation of our cruise line’s culinary offerings. By following company recipes and international food safety standards, you will ensure that all chocolate items meet strict hygiene and safety requirements. Your Journey So Far

Your expertise includes: 

You have established yourself as a skilled chocolatier with a proven track record in professional chocolate or pastry kitchens. 

Your experience includes working either aboard a cruise ship or in a major hotel adhering to International Food Safety Standards. 

You have refined your techniques in: 

Tempering chocolate 

Molding and decorating chocolate 

Handling specialized equipment 

You are proficient in executing recipes with precision and maintaining consistency. 

You thrive in a high-paced environment, working efficiently under pressure. 

You are committed to maintaining food safety regulations. 

Your adaptability to the dynamic nature of an onboard kitchen makes you an ideal candidate for this role. 

Your Essentials

Relevant qualifications in pastry, chocolate making, or confectionery. 

Proven experience as a Chocolatier or in a similar role, preferably onboard a cruise ship or in a high-end hotel environment. 

Fluency in English (oral and written) to ensure effective communication. 

Strong knowledge of chocolate preparation techniques, tempering methods, and food safety standards. 

Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment with a keen eye for detail. 

Commitment to upholding hygiene and sanitation protocols as per company and international standards. 

Passion for craftsmanship, innovation, and delivering premium chocolate experiences to our guests.
