Responsibilities
The Wood Carver blends traditional craftsmanship with dynamic retail support across multiple onboard departments. This unique role involves performing live wood carving demonstrations for guests, showcasing artistic techniques, materials, and cultural stories while creating original pieces for display and sale. As part of the Onboard Retail (OBR) Flex team, the Wood Carver also contributes to daily operations in areas such as Shore Excursions, Gift Shop, Spa, and Photo Studio. The ideal candidate is a skilled artisan with a passion for guest engagement, capable of adapting to various roles while maintaining high standards of service, safety, and professionalism in a fast-paced, multicultural cruise environment.
