Tattoo Artist - onboard cruise ship

TATTOO ARTIST:

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience as a professional Tattoo Artist
• Strong portfolio of completed tattoos (multiple styles preferred: fine line, realism, lettering, etc.)
• Minimum 2–3 years hands-on experience
• Ability to perform: Custom designs and Consultations with clients

Certifications / Compliance (MANDATORY)

• Bloodborne Pathogens Certification (OSHA compliant)
• Tattoo License / Body Art License (as required by jurisdiction)
• Hepatitis B Vaccination (mandatory)
• Infection Control & Hygiene Certification
• Sterilization and cross-contamination prevention training
• Knowledge of safe needle handling and disposal (sharps protocol)

Technical & Safety Standards

• Strict adherence to:
• Sterile working environment
• Single-use needles and equipment
• Proper skin preparation and aftercare guidance
• Ability to explain:
• Tattoo process
• Healing stages
• Risks and aftercare

Sales & Revenue Expectations (KEY)

• Strong consultation-to-sale conversion ability
• Ability to: Upsell size, placement, and design complexity and Build trust quickly with guests
• Confident in approaching guests and promoting services
