As a Shorex Associate, you will support the Shore Excursion Manager in delivering exceptional guest service and efficient sales operations related to all tours and experiences offered on and off the ship. This role involves assisting guests with booking excursions, providing detailed information, handling issues or complaints, promoting onboard activities and premium experiences, and consistently working toward revenue targets while maintaining professional standards. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, organized, guest-focused, sales-driven, and a strong team player

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Promote and sell all available shore excursions to maximize revenue.
Provide accurate and detailed information to guests regarding tour offerings.
Proactively upsell and upgrade tours during guest interactions.
Ensure consistently high levels of guest satisfaction through exceptional service and support.
Handle and resolve guest complaints and refund requests professionally.
Dispatch excursions shoreside in conjunction with local tour operators.
Maintain clear communication with tour operators regarding guest counts and service requirements.
Assign escorts and guides for excursions, and serve as a translator or representative when needed,
etc.

REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum 21 years old
Relevant ship experience is preferred
Good level of English language
Ship experience is preferred
Ability to communicate tactfully and effectively with guests, department heads and crewmembers to foresee and resolve problems and negotiate resolutions.
