Key Responsibilities
• Host and conduct live art auctions or art seminars with energy, education, and expert showmanship.
• Build lasting collector relationships through personalized follow-up and consultation.
• Mentor and lead Gallery Directors and Art Associates to hit performance goals.
• Curate auction inventory and develop event strategy with gallery management.
• Report on sales performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Qualifications
• Proven background in live-event sales, auctioneering, or high-impact public speaking. Former employment as a cruise-ship Art Auctioneer, Gallery Director, or Art Associate preferred, but not mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of fine art or the ability to develop it rapidly.
• Natural leader with a commanding stage presence and consultative sales ability.
