Faststream is recruiting for a senior fitter

Faststream Recruitment is partnering with a reputable cruise operator to recruit an experienced Senior Fitter to join their onboard engineering team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance, repair, machining, and welding on engine room equipment
• Support work on main propulsion and auxiliary machinery
• Take ownership of the engine workshop, ensuring safe and efficient operations
• Manage tools, materials, and assist with maintenance planning
• Supervise and support Fitters and junior crew

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Fitter/Senior Fitter at sea
• Strong mechanical, machining, and welding skills
• Experience with engine room machinery
• STCW certification and valid seafarer medical
• Professional approach with ability to work in a team

• Competitive salary of $3100 per month plus the equivalent for leave pay.
