Future Cruise Consultant

• Providing a friendly and efficient service to guests, creating ‘Ambassador Moments’ and leading to total guest and company satisfaction
• Be the ‘socially visible’ event organiser onboard
• Responsible for organising and hosting social events as per Company standard and directed by Guest Experiences Manager
• Host tables and onboard activities as required
• Effectively and efficiently organise the day and evening social event calendar
• Liaise with all relevant department heads to ensure onboard venues are set up as required
• Confidently communicate guest announcements over the onboard PA system
• Support the Guest Services team by effectively responding and resolving guest concerns
• Maintain a visible and social presence onboard the ship at all times
• Escort VIP arrivals and assist with check-in as required
• Ensure thorough knowledge of itineraries to effectively answer guest questions and provide information
• Responsible for the update and maintenance of the onboard library
• Escort Destination Experiences tours if required
• Pre-plan onboard activities for future cruise
• Support Guest Services Ambassadors with embarkation to ensure guests are checked-in courteously and efficiently and receive a positive check-in experience
• Ensure all guest requests are dealt with effectively with appropriate follow-up
• Provide guest assistance in the terminal, when needed, during embarkation and debarkation
• Participate in guest and crew drills according to assigned safety duty and as required by ship’s command
• Arrange personal guest invites to events as required
• Wear Ambassador uniform with pride and in line with company image and uniform standards
• Provide a positive working environment be ensuring all colleagues are treated fairly and equally
• Any other duties as reasonably requested by Guest Experiences Manager
