• Oversees crew development programs and training.
• Coaching & counselling to officers/managers and crew.
• Supervises the individual performance management.
• Oversees the promotions done on board guaranteeing their compliance to Company rules.
• Coordinates and supervises the Crew Welfare Program in liaison with the crew welfare president.
• Ensure implementation and follow up sop related to crew welfare.
• Is in charge of the familiarization to the new-hires first contract.
• Is in charge to arrange in liaison with the ship management the “welcome onboard” familiarization meeting for all new joiners.
• Implement and supervises a “Buddy” system organization in collaboration with the Dept heads
• Manages internships programs
• Ensures the follow up of the Letter of engagement
• Oversees activities relating to sign-on and sign-off procedures.
• Supervises the re-embarkation scheduling process in Radiant Fleet
• Handles contract reduction or extension requests in conjunction with crew purser.
• Approves the Family cruise request forms.
• Provides maximum assistance to crew in case of relative’s mourning case
• New-hires communication and information aspects related to salary while the crew admin is in charge of the administrative and financial aspects.
• HR End of cruise report to be sent in CFC, Master and Hotel Director no later than 48 hours after ended cruise.

Disciplinary actions and complaints management:
• Oversees MLC 2006 working and resting hours control
• Handles the change of department requests originating on board
• Manages the Crew complaints originating from the ship. Also reports any manager who fails to respect company rules, being involved in any form of corruption or discrimination.
• Is in charge, together with the Staff Captain, of making the decisions on disciplinary action or dismissal, in link with the shoreside HR functions and the respective Operations.
• Participates in cabin inspections.
• Can be a part of the investigation team (with Staff Captain, Ship Security Officer) in disciplinary cases.
