HVAC Surveyor

HVAC-R Surveyor- ITALY BASED

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced HVAC-R Surveyor to join a specialist team overseeing the construction and delivery of newbuild vessels.

This role is ideally suited to candidates with a strong seagoing HVAC or Refrigeration background who are looking to transition ashore while remaining closely connected to the maritime industry.

The Role

Carry out daily inspections during vessel construction to ensure HVAC-R systems meet technical specifications.
Monitor project progress, identify defects and work with shipyard and technical teams to resolve issues.
Attend technical meetings and provide regular progress updates.
Support commissioning, sea trials and post-delivery follow-up.
Represent the owner's interests throughout the build process.

Requirements

Previous seagoing experience in an HVAC, Refrigeration or similar marine engineering role.
Strong technical knowledge of marine HVAC-R systems.
Experience working with technical documentation and specifications.
Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
Comfortable working closely with shipyards, contractors and project teams.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and confident communicating in English.
