Cruise Staff / Activity Host (Mandarin Speaking) -Cruise Ship

We are looking for an energetic, outgoing, and Mandarin-speaking Cruise Staff / Activity Host to join our onboard entertainment team. In this guest-facing role, you will host and facilitate a variety of recreational, entertainment, and social activities for guests of all ages while delivering exceptional customer service throughout the voyage.

 Key Responsibilities

* Host and participate in a wide range of onboard activities, games, events, and entertainment programs for adults and families.
* Serve as a Master of Ceremonies (MC) for activities, competitions, presentations, and themed events.
* Engage with guests throughout the ship, creating a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere.
* Assist during embarkation, debarkation, and port days by providing information and directing guests.
* Participate in welcome events, cocktail receptions, and other guest engagement activities.
* Support family programming and recreational activities for guests of all ages.
* Assist with shore excursion operations and ticket processing when required.
* Organise and facilitate sports tournaments, fitness activities, and other recreational programs.
* Perform in entertainment productions, including simple dance routines, games, skits, and interactive shows.
* Set up and dismantle activity equipment and props before and after events.
* Assist with audio-visual equipment and spotlight operation during performances when required.
* Maintain activity supplies, prizes, and equipment inventory.
* Attend rehearsals, training sessions, meetings, and other work-related activities.
* Perform additional duties as assigned by the Entertainment Management team.

Requirements

* Fluent in **Mandarin** and **English** (spoken and written).
* Minimum of **2 years' experience** as an MC, host, presenter, entertainer, or in a similar guest-facing entertainment role within hospitality, resorts, cruise ships, events, or the leisure industry.
* Confident speaking on a microphone and engaging large audiences.
* Excellent presentation, communication, and public speaking skills.
* Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to lead activities and provide clear instructions to groups of varying sizes.
* A talent or background in entertainment such as singing, dancing, fitness instruction, theatre, comedy, crafts, or other interactive activities is highly desirable.
* Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office or similar software.
* High school diploma or equivalent required.
* Qualification in theatre, dance, performance, hospitality, or a related field is an advantage.
