As a Caribbean Host, you will act as a cultural ambassador, delivering immersive activities, interactive events, and authentic storytelling that inspire guests to discover the rich heritage, music, cuisine, and traditions of the Caribbean.

 Key Responsibilities

* Welcome and engage guests with warmth, enthusiasm, and professionalism.
* Encourage participation in cultural activities and interactive experiences.
* Create memorable moments that enhance the guest experience throughout the voyage.

Event & Activity Delivery

* Host and facilitate Caribbean-inspired events, workshops, games, dance classes, trivia, arts and crafts, and themed celebrations.
* Assist with the planning and execution of cultural programming and special events.
* Maintain high levels of energy and audience participation during activities.

Cultural Storytelling

* Share fascinating stories, traditions, customs, music, history, and local knowledge of the Caribbean in an engaging and respectful manner.
* Help guests develop a deeper appreciation of Caribbean culture and destinations.
* Represent the region with authenticity, enthusiasm, and pride.

 Operational Support

* Prepare activity spaces and materials before each event.
* Ensure activities are delivered safely and professionally.
* Work closely with the onboard entertainment and guest experience teams to deliver exceptional programming.
* Attend training sessions, rehearsals, and team meetings as required.

 What We're Looking For

* Experience in hospitality, tourism, entertainment, events, or another guest-facing role.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
* Passion for Caribbean culture, storytelling, and guest engagement.
* Confidence speaking to groups and hosting interactive activities.
* Friendly, energetic, and outgoing personality.
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
* Team player with a positive, professional attitude.
* Multilingual abilities and knowledge of Caribbean history, traditions, music, cuisine, or festivals are highly desirable.
