The Asian Corner Cook prepares authentic Asian cuisine while delivering exceptional quality, presentation, and guest service. Working as part of a multicultural culinary team, this role supports efficient kitchen operations, food safety, cost control, and an outstanding dining experience for guests.

Key Responsibilities:


Prepare and cook a variety of Asian dishes, with a focus on Chinese cuisine.
Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency.
Follow recipes, production schedules, and preparation lists.
Support cost control, portion management, and waste reduction.
Collaborate with service and culinary teams to achieve guest satisfaction and revenue goals.
Promote menu offerings and resolve guest concerns professionally.
Adhere to all food safety, sanitation, and company policies.


Qualifications:


Minimum 1 year of culinary education or equivalent apprenticeship.
At least 3 years of experience in an Asian cuisine restaurant, with 1 year in a guest-facing production role preferred.
Strong knowledge of Chinese regional cuisines (e.g., Sichuan, Hunan, Cantonese); experience with Pan-Asian and Japanese cuisine is an advantage.
Proficiency in wok cooking; experience with dim sum, dumplings, hand-pulled noodles, and Southeast Asian cuisine is desirable.
Good English communication skills.
Cruise ship or international culinary experience is preferred.
Minimum age: 21 years.
