Temporary 3rd Engineer Opportunity

We are currently seeking an experienced 3rd Engineer to join a passenger vessel on a temporary contract.

Contract Details

Contract Type: Temporary
Dates: 07 August – 12 September
Salary: USD 4,487 (plus holiday pay paid at the end of the disembarkation month)

The Role
Reporting to the Staff Chief Engineer, the successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and efficient engine watch, operating and monitoring engine room machinery, carrying out maintenance duties, and supporting the engineering team in the day-to-day operation of the vessel. The role also includes maintaining accurate records, reporting defects, and ensuring compliance with company procedures and safety standards.

Essential Certification
Candidates must hold:

Engine Officer Licence
High Voltage Certificate
Medical First Aid
Advanced Fire Fighting
Proficiency in Survival Craft & Rescue Boats (PSCRB)
Basic Safety Training (BST)
Yellow Fever Vaccination
Seaman's Book
Valid Passport
STCW Seafarer Medical Certificate
