About the Role

As a Port & Shopping Expert or Assistant, you are the primary voice driving onboard and shoreside retail engagement for thousands of passengers. This role requires an energetic presenter who can seamlessly blend entertainment with sales strategy to maximise revenue across every voyage. You will serve as the bridge between guest expectations, onboard retail teams, and partner vendors in port.

What the reality of this position looks like:

* Stage presentations and active promotion: You will host live, high-energy shopping shows, conduct gemstone seminars, and staff the port shopping desk daily to capture guest interest and drive store footfall.

* Cross-departmental coordination: You will work closely with the ship's revenue manager, onboard retail teams, broadcast staff, and shoreside partners to align marketing schedules, run promotions, and meet voyage targets.

* Programme management and issue resolution: You will handle the end-to-end voyage setup - from updating print and digital marketing guides to directly resolving guest enquiries, complaints, and return requests.

Essential attributes and qualifications:

* Experience: Proven background in public speaking, large-audience presentation, or high-volume retail sales.

* Technical & Systems: Strong grasp of retail data analysis, digital media scheduling, and full familiarity with cruise line standard operating procedures.

* Core traits: Natural charisma, coachability, exceptional relationship-building skills, and a clear drive to meet revenue targets.
