V.Ships Leisure is looking for Spa Hairdresser  on behalf of Orient Express Sailing Yachts.

The Guerlain Hairdresser is responsible for delivering high-end hair services as part of the Spa and wellness experience, combining technical excellence with a refined sense of luxury service.

As a true ambassador of the House, the Hairdresser contributes to elevating the guest journey by integrating haircare into Guerlain’s global beauty approach, ensuring a seamless and personalized experience.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Experience & Service Excellence

• Deliver exceptional, personalized hair services (cut, styling, blow-dry, treatments)
• Conduct in-depth consultations to understand each guest’s expectations and lifestyle
• Create a refined, seamless, and memorable guest experience
• Ensure full alignment with Guerlain, Forbes, and LQA service standards

Technical Expertise & Signature Excellence

• Demonstrate a high level of mastery in cutting, styling, and finishing techniques
• Ensure consistency and excellence in service delivery following Guerlain protocols
•  Maintain the highest standards of hygiene, precision, and consistency
•  Stay up to date with international trends, techniques, and innovations
•  Demonstrate strong expertise in studio hairstyling (styling studio), with the ability to deliver high-impact looks for events, photoshoots, and special occasions
• Notions of make-up artistry are a strong plus to support complete

Integration within the Guerlain Spa Global Experience

• Position hair services as a natural extension of Guerlain’s beauty and wellness expertise
• Collaborate with Wellness Experts to deliver a holistic and cross-disciplinary approach
• Contribute to the development of premium hair rituals aligned with Guerlain DNA

Retail & Product Prescription

•  Provide expert and personalized product recommendations
•  Drive retail performance through a “prescription mindset” (not selling, advising)
• Support the development of haircare as a strategic revenue pillar within the Spa

Brand Ambassador

• Embody Guerlain’s heritage, values, and luxury standards at all times
• Maintain impeccable grooming, posture, and communication
• Deliver storytelling around Guerlain expertise, products, and philosophy

Education/Experience/Qualifications:

•  Proven experience as a Hairdresser in a luxury or high-end environment
•  Strong technical expertise in cutting, styling, and haircare treatments
•  Client-centric with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and passion for luxury service
• Ability to work in an international, fast-paced environment
•  Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus)
