We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced 2nd Engineer to join the Engine Department onboard a cruise vessel. Reporting directly to the Chief Engineer, the successful candidate will play a key role in the safe and efficient operation of all machinery and engineering systems onboard.

Key Responsibilities
Assist the Chief Engineer in the operation, maintenance, and management of the Engine Department.
Oversee the daily operation and maintenance of propulsion machinery, auxiliary engines, boilers, pumps, and associated equipment.
Supervise and support junior engineering officers and engine ratings.
Plan and execute preventive maintenance in accordance with the Planned Maintenance System (PMS).
Monitor machinery performance and troubleshoot technical issues to minimize downtime.
Ensure compliance with company policies, flag state regulations, SOLAS, MARPOL, and other applicable maritime regulations.
Support bunkering operations, safety drills, and emergency response activities.
Promote a strong safety culture and environmental awareness throughout the engineering team.


Requirements
Valid STCW certification and seafarer's documentation.
Class III/II Engineer Officer Certificate of Competency 
Previous experience as a 2nd Engineer, onboard passenger vessels, or large commercial vessels.
Strong knowledge of marine diesel engines, electrical systems, HVAC, boilers, sewage treatment plants, and auxiliary machinery.
Proven leadership and team management skills.
Experience working with Planned Maintenance Systems and safety management systems.
Good command of English.
Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and dynamic environment.
