Faststream Recruitment is recruiting an experienced Assistant Chief Housekeeper on behalf of a prestigious luxury ocean cruise operator.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly respected fleet, supporting the 1st and Chief Housekeeper in delivering exceptional housekeeping standards and leading a multicultural team in a fast-paced luxury environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the 1st and Chief Housekeeper in the daily operation of the Housekeeping Department.
• Lead and motivate the housekeeping team to maintain exceptional cleanliness and presentation standards.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation procedures.
• Assist with inspections, training, scheduling, and inventory control.

Requirements

• Previous experience as an Assistant Chief Housekeeper or in a senior housekeeping role onboard cruise ships.
• Strong leadership and organisational skills.
• Experience managing multicultural teams.
• Ability to provide shipboard appraisals from very last 2 contracts. 
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.
