Faststream Recruitment is working with a leading ultra-luxury cruise operator to recruit an experienced Butler to join its onboard hospitality team.

This role would suit a polished and highly guest-focused hospitality professional who is confident delivering discreet, personalised service and creating memorable experiences for discerning guests.

The Role

As a Butler, you will provide a highly personalised service throughout the guest journey, anticipating individual needs and ensuring every interaction is handled with warmth, professionalism and discretion.

You will play an important role in the onboard guest experience, building strong relationships with guests and working closely with other departments to ensure a seamless and consistently high standard of service.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver highly personalised and attentive service to guests.
• Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly and professionally to requests.
• Maintain exceptional standards of presentation, discretion and service.
• Build strong relationships with guests and understand their individual preferences.
• Handle a range of guest requests with efficiency and attention to detail.
• Work closely with other onboard departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
• Maintain excellent knowledge of onboard services and facilities.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Butler or in a comparable high-end guest service position.
• An additional language is preferred due to the international guest demographic.
• A recognised Butler certification is preferred but not essential. 
• Strong hospitality experience combined with an additional language may be considered in place of Butler certification.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A polished, discreet and personable approach.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a genuine passion for personalised guest service.
• Previous cruise experience is not required.
