ship's operational schedule
Accommodation: Shared accommodation provided onboard
Travel & Meals: Travel support provided by the cruise ship company; meals provided onboard
Salary: Gross monthly salary between €2,100 and €2,900, corresponding to approximately
€1,600–€2,230 net per month after statutory deductions

2. Job Description

As a Waiter, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, personalized service to guests
onboard a luxury 5* cruise ship. You will work in an international hospitality environment,
ensuring an excellent dining experience and maintaining high standards of guest service.
Key responsibilities include:
● Providing professional and personalized service to cruise guests
● Taking and serving food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
● Assisting guests with menu and product information
● Maintaining high standards of service throughout the dining experience
● Working closely with the restaurant and hospitality team
● Ensuring tables and service areas are properly prepared and maintained
● Responding professionally to guest requests and needs
● Contributing to a positive and welcoming atmosphere onboard
● Following company standards and procedures regarding service, hygiene, and guest
satisfaction

3. Requirements / The Ideal Candidate Should Have:

● Previous professional experience as a Waiter, preferably on cruise ships or in
hotels/restaurants offering personalized service
● Experience in à la carte restaurants is highly valued
● Good level of English, particularly for communication with guests and colleagues
● Knowledge of French or German is considered an advantage
● Excellent teamwork and communication skills
● Empathetic, open-minded, and guest-oriented attitude
● Flexible approach to working hours and the dynamic cruise environment
● Ability to work effectively under pressure and in an international team
● Availability to live and work onboard a cruise ship for the duration of the contract
