ship's operational schedule

Salary: Gross monthly salary between €2,581 and €3,470, corresponding to approximately
€1,980–€2,450 net per month after statutory deductions

2. Job Description

As a Cook or Chef, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality food in a luxury 5* cruise
ship environment. Depending on your position and experience, you may work in different
areas of the ship's kitchen, contributing to the preparation and presentation of meals for
international guests.
Key responsibilities include:
● Preparing and cooking dishes according to established recipes and quality standards
● Supporting the smooth operation of the kitchen
● Ensuring food is prepared and presented to a high standard
● Following food safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures
● Maintaining a clean and organized workstation
● Working efficiently during busy service periods
● Cooperating with other members of the kitchen team
● Following instructions from senior kitchen staff
● Contributing to a professional and positive working environment onboard

3. Requirements / The Ideal Candidate Should Have:

● Professional experience in the position being applied for
● Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel with an elaborate kitchen is highly valued
● Previous cruise ship experience is an advantage
● Conversational level of English
● Good teamwork and communication skills
● Open-minded and flexible approach
● Ability to work efficiently under pressure
● Willingness to work flexible hours
● Availability to live and work onboard a cruise ship for the duration of the contract
