Faststream Recruitment is working with a leading international cruise operator to recruit an experienced Suite Host to join its luxury onboard hospitality team.

This role would suit a polished and guest-focused hospitality professional with strong luxury hotel experience and a passion for delivering highly personalised service. The position offers the opportunity to take your luxury hospitality experience into an international cruise environment, working with an exclusive guest base from around the world.

The Role

As a Suite Host, you will be responsible for providing attentive and personalised service to guests staying in luxury suites, ensuring their needs are anticipated and their onboard experience is seamless from arrival through to departure.

You will act as a key point of contact for your guests, building strong relationships and working closely with other onboard departments to ensure a consistently high standard of service.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide personalised and attentive service to guests throughout their stay.
• Welcome guests and assist with embarkation and suite orientation.
• Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to requests.
• Coordinate special arrangements, amenities and guest preferences.
• Handle guest enquiries and resolve issues professionally and discreetly.
• Liaise with housekeeping, food and beverage and other departments to ensure guest expectations are met.
• Maintain high standards of presentation, professionalism and service at all times.
• Build strong relationships with an international and discerning guest base.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years' experience within a luxury 5-star hotel, resort or similar high-end hospitality environment.
• Previous experience in a Suite Host, Butler, Guest Relations, Front Office or similar guest-facing role is preferred.
• Previous cruise experience is advantageous but not essential.
• Strong luxury service and guest relationship skills.
• Excellent spoken English.
• An additional language is preferred due to guest demographic. 
• Confident, polished and professional manner.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to anticipate guest needs and deliver discreet, personalised service.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced international environment.
