Contract Type: Seasonal / fixed-term, with employment contracts signed directly with the
cruise ship company
Working Hours: Full-time, including weekends, with flexible working hours according to the
ship's operational schedule
Accommodation: Shared accommodation provided onboard
Travel & Meals: Travel support provided by the cruise ship company; meals provided onboard
Salary: Gross monthly salary between €2,100 and €2,900, corresponding to approximately
€1,600–€2,230 net per month after statutory deductions

2. Job Description
As a Stateroom Steward / Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards
of cleanliness, comfort, and presentation in guest staterooms and related areas onboard a
luxury 5* cruise ship.
Key responsibilities include:
● Cleaning and maintaining guest staterooms to a high standard
● Ensuring rooms are properly prepared and presented for guests
● Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene according to company standards
● Replenishing necessary guest amenities and supplies
● Responding professionally to guest requests related to housekeeping
● Working closely with the housekeeping team and other onboard departments
● Following health, safety, and hygiene procedures
● Ensuring attention to detail and a high level of guest satisfaction

3. Requirements / The Ideal Candidate Should Have:
● Previous professional experience as a Stateroom Steward, Housekeeper, or similar role
● Experience in cruise ships or hotels is highly valued
● Experience in domestic, corporate, or office cleaning is also considered an advantage
● Ability to communicate in English, French, or German
● Good attention to detail and a strong sense of responsibility
● Ability to work effectively as part of an international team
● Open-minded and flexible approach
● Willingness to work flexible hours and adapt to the dynamic cruise environment
● Availability to live and work onboard a cruise ship for the duration of the contract
