Your Purpose
As Demi Chef de Partie - Chocolatier, you play a key role in creating memorable Guest experiences through the production of high-quality chocolate creations that meet MSC standards of excellence. Working alongside the Maître Chocolatier, you ensure the consistent preparation, presentation, and delivery of premium chocolate products across all designated outlets. Your passion for craftsmanship, attention to detail, and commitment to quality help maintain the highest culinary standards while contributing to Guest satisfaction and operational success.Your Impact
You contribute directly to the success of the Chocolate Galley by supporting daily production, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Through teamwork, organization, and operational excellence, you help deliver exceptional products while minimizing waste, controlling costs, and maintaining an efficient working environment. Your guidance and support to junior team members foster a culture of continuous improvement and consistency, ensuring that every chocolate creation reflects MSC's commitment to excellence.Your Journey So Far
Proven experience in a Chocolatier or similar culinary role within a cruise ship, hotel, resort, or high-volume hospitality environment.
Minimum 2 years of experience in chocolate production, or a related specialty.
Strong knowledge of chocolate preparation techniques, production methods, and presentation standards.
Experience supporting daily production planning, ordering processes, and stock organization.
Ability to coach and support junior culinary team members while maintaining productivity and quality standards.
Exposure to food cost control, waste reduction initiatives, and inventory management.
Your Essentials
High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
Technical education in Pastry Arts, Chocolate Making, or a related culinary discipline preferred.
Food Safety and HACCP certification.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and commitment to product excellence.
Ability to work effectively in a multicultural team environment and maintain a positive, professional attitude.
English both spoken and written.
