Faststream Recruitment is recruiting an experienced Assistant General Manager on behalf of a prestigious ultra-luxury ocean cruise operator.

This is an exciting opportunity for an accomplished hospitality professional looking to take the next step in their career. Particularly suited to an experienced F&B Director with wider Hotel Operations exposure within the ultra-luxury cruise sector.

The Role
Supporting the Hotel General Manager, you will assist in overseeing the onboard hotel operation, ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction, operational efficiency and the highest standards of luxury hospitality across all departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Hotel General Manager in overseeing daily hotel operations.
• Drive exceptional guest satisfaction and personalised luxury service.
• Provide leadership and guidance across F&B, Housekeeping, Guest Services and other hotel departments.
• Monitor operational performance, budgets and cost control.
• Lead, coach and develop multicultural management teams.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, public health and safety standards.
• Deputise for the Hotel General Manager when required.
   

Requirements

• Previous experience as an Assistant General Manager, Assistant Hotel Director or F&B Director onboard an ultra-luxury cruise ship.
• F&B Directors must demonstrate wider Hotel Operations exposure and a strong understanding of the overall onboard hotel function.
• Proven leadership experience managing large multicultural teams.
• Strong financial acumen and operational management skills. 
• Exceptional guest service, communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Fluent English and valid seagoing documentation, or willingness to obtain.
