About the Role

Delivering therapies at sea requires a steady hand, high energy, and the ability to adapt professional beauty protocols to a fast-paced shipboard environment. Working within the onboard spa, you will deliver high-standard massage, facial, and body treatments to guests looking for complete relaxation while cruising. This is a full-time, hands-on role that combines physical stamina with consultative retail sales to enhance guest wellness throughout their voyage.

What the reality of this position looks like:

Delivering back-to-back massage, facial, and body treatments within strict protocol timeframes, maintaining physical resilience during long operational shifts.

Balancing hands-on treatment schedules with proactive guest education, recommending tailored home-care products and wellness solutions to boost departmental revenue.

Maintaining immaculate treatment spaces through continuous sanitation, equipment maintenance, daily logging, and assisting with reception coverage or promotional demonstrations across the ship.

 

Essential attributes and qualifications:

Experience: Minimum two years of hands-on experience in a professional spa, salon, or wellness setting.

Technical & Systems: Nationally recognised certification or diploma in massage therapy, aesthetics, or cosmetology, with certified expertise in massage, facial, and body therapies.

Core traits: High physical endurance, a warm and professional demeanor, natural sales capability, and the resilience needed for a seven-day working week at sea.
