German speaking Junior Sanitation Officer (f/m)

Your responsibilities:

• - Supporting the Sanitation Officer in maintaining onboard health, hygiene, safety and environmental standards
• - Monitoring compliance with USPH/VSP, SHIPSAN, HACCP, SQM and MARPOL
• - Supporting Integrated Pest Management (IPM) procedures
• - Conducting internal hygiene inspections and assisting during external Public Health inspections
• - Maintaining sanitation records, logs and HACCP checklists
• - Supporting sanitation and Public Health training for crew members

What we are looking for:

• - Advanced English
• - Intermediate German
• - Education or professional training in hygiene, sanitation, food safety or a related field is preferred
• - Relevant experience in sanitation, hygiene, food safety or Public Health
• - Knowledge of hygiene and food-safety regulations
• - Good computer / MS Office skills
• - Well organised, responsible and confident working with different departments
• - Ready for an onboard contract of approximately 4–5 months
