2nd Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced 2nd Engineer to join the Engine Department, for a private mega yacht. Reporting directly to the Chief Engineer, the successful candidate will play a key role in the safe and efficient operation of all machinery and engineering systems onboard. Expected joining date: 1st December 2026

European candidates are preferred due to current operational requirements.

Requirements:

• Valid STCW certification and seafarer's documentation.
• Class III/2 Engineer Officer Certificate of Competency
• Previous experience as a 2nd Engineer, onboard passenger vessels, or large commercial vessels.
• Strong knowledge of marine diesel engines, electrical systems, HVAC, boilers, sewage treatment plants, and auxiliary machinery.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Good command of English.
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and dynamic environment

What we offer:

• Salary: EUR 7,000/month
• Permanent contract
• Leave entitlement: 4.17 accrued leave days per month
• 2 round trips per year / leave entitlement
