3rd Engineer

We are seeking a motivated and experienced 3rd Engineer to join the Engine Department of a private mega yacht. Reporting directly to the Chief Engineer and supporting the 2nd Engineer, the successful candidate will contribute to the safe and efficient operation, maintenance, and monitoring of all machinery and engineering systems onboard.

Expected joining date: 1 December 2026

European candidates are preferred due to current operational requirements.

Requirements:

• Valid STCW certification and seafarer's documentation
• Valid Officer in Charge of an Engineering Watch (OICEW) Certificate of Competency (STCW III/1)
• Previous experience as a 3rd Engineer onboard cruise ships, passenger vessels, or large commercial vessel
• Experience with engine room watchkeeping and planned maintenance systems
• Good command of English
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and dynamic environmentStrong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills

What We Offer:

• Salary: EUR 5,000/month
• Permanent contract
• Leave entitlement: 4.17 accrued leave days per month
• 2 round trips per year during leave periods
