Facility Manager – Large Cruise Ship

We are seeking an experienced Facility Manager to join a large cruise ship currently undergoing an extensive maintenance and refurbishment project in Belfast.

• Required Documents: Valid C1/D visa and ILO 98 Seaman’s Book

Role Overview

The successful candidate will support and oversee facilities-related maintenance and project activities onboard, coordinating work across relevant technical and hotel maintenance areas during the vessel’s refurbishment programme.

Candidates should have strong shipboard facilities, maintenance or technical management experience, with the ability to coordinate teams, prioritise work and ensure projects are completed safely and efficiently.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Facility Manager or in a similar shipboard technical/facilities management role
• Strong experience coordinating maintenance and refurbishment activities
• Good understanding of hotel and technical maintenance requirements onboard passenger vessels
• Experience managing teams and contractors
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Previous shipboard experience
• Valid STCW certification
• Valid C1/D visa
• ILO 98-compliant Seaman’s Book
• Available to join at short notice

Previous experience onboard large cruise ships would be highly advantageous.
