Galley Technician / Galley Plumber – Large Cruise Ship

We are seeking an experienced Galley Technician / Galley Plumber to join a large cruise ship currently undergoing an extensive maintenance and refurbishment project in Belfast.

• Contract Duration: 8 months
• Required Documents: Valid C1/D visa and ILO 98 Seaman’s Book

Role Overview

The successful candidate will support the maintenance, repair and installation of plumbing systems and technical equipment within the vessel’s galley and food service areas.

The role will involve both planned and reactive maintenance during the vessel’s refurbishment programme, including fault finding, repairs and general project work.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Galley Technician, Galley Plumber, Plumber or similar marine technical role
• Strong experience with plumbing systems, pipework, valves, drains and water supply systems
• Experience maintaining and repairing galley and food service equipment
• Good practical fault-finding and repair skills
• Previous shipboard experience
• Valid STCW certification
• Valid C1/D visa
• ILO 98-compliant Seaman’s Book
• Available to join at short notice

Previous experience onboard large cruise ships would be advantageous.
