River Cruise Specialist

Award-winning European river cruise operator AmaWaterways continues to lead the way in river cruising with new ships, new itineraries and new accolades for its innovative product. This rapidly growing company is now searching for a river cruise specialist for its office in Basel, Switzerland.

The position entails overseeing the operations aboard AmaWaterways vessels, including shore excursions, entertainment, and onboard operations. Candidates should possess the following qualifications:

• Experience working with or working aboard European river cruise vessels
• Extensive knowledge of European river cruise ports and destinations
• Fluency in the English language. Basic knowledge of German, French, and Spanish is desired
• Ability and willingness to work on a flexible schedule is required
• Experience in crisis management
• Ability to work in a fast paced high volume environment
• Ability and willingness to travel
• Excellent writing and communication skills
• Ability to work with commitment in a team environment
