Position Summary:

The AVP of Celebrity Finance will be responsible for leadership and management of all financial support departments including IT, Purchasing, RCI/CCI Fleet Operations, TGS, Sales & Marketing, Revenue Management, International and RCT/Shore Excursions. Individuals in these organizations will now have a dual reporting role to operating management and directly to this position. Direct a broad range of staff and service function that provide support and assistance to the financial area. Areas of responsibility include driving greater efficiency through best practice sharing and coordination of financial planning resources, ensuring compliance with company and regulatory accounting practices and policies, and managing and developing staff.

• Provide operating management world-class financial support through standard, accurate, cost effective, and timely financial analysis and reporting
• Ensures consistency and integrity in financial planning, analysis, and reporting across brands and departments
• Drives greater efficiency in the use of financial planning and analysis resources
• Promotes the sharing and implementation of best practices across brands and departments
• Provides financial leadership to key company initiatives including newbuilding programs, "Next Level", SG&A analysis, EBITDA/PPCD targets etc.
• Interprets company policy, and provide its fair and consistent application across operating departments
• Provide training on company policies and GAAP to direct reports

Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting or Finance with a Masters degree (MBA) or CPA
• Fifteen years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Candidate must possess strong written and oral communication skills.
• Full working knowledge of personal computers within a Windows environment and email required.
• Ability to write reports which are clear and concise, outlining solutions and recommendation of actions. Individual must have good business acumen, and excellent organization skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate with all levels of employees
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume
• Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
