2nd Engineer

The 2nd Engineer (or Second Assistant Engineer) is a watch-keeping officer often responsible for the main propulsion plant and associated auxiliary systems. They manage the day-to-day operation of the engines and auxiliary machinery, ensuring performance standards are met.
