Safety Officer

The Safety Officer is a dedicated officer responsible for promoting and enforcing all safety regulations and procedures onboard. They coordinate safety training for the crew, oversee equipment checks (like lifeboats and fire systems), investigate accidents, and ensure the ship adheres to the International Safety Management (ISM) Code. They report directly to the Staff Captain or Master regarding all safety compliance matters.
