Staff Captain

The Staff Captain is the second-highest-ranking officer on the ship and is the second-in-command to the Captain/Master. They are primarily responsible for the ship’s internal organization, discipline, safety, and security. The Staff Captain oversees the Deck Department and acts as the designated deputy, ready to take command of the vessel in the Captain's absence or during emergencies.
