Wiper

The Wiper is the entry-level position in the Engine Department. Their primary duties are focused on cleaning the engine room, machinery, bilges, and workshops to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and safety. They assist the Oilers and other ratings, learning the layout and basics of engine room operations in preparation for advancement.
